• Garnet is a very serious person. She believes that her responsibilities always come first. With the effort, the motivation, and the desire, she can change her personality. She is fond of theatrics, sings when she is upset or lost in her dreams, and has a tendency to say very little about herself. She has a lot of faith in her friends, in her allies, but more than likely does not voice it. There are many more things to her than what meets the eye.
• Her naivety can very well be her downfall. No matter how clever she often thinks she is, she is often one step behind those around her and has a difficult time being strong. She has a tendency to give in easily to despair and trauma.
[Ability & Weaponry Statistics]
• .:Abilities:. She has a very rare ability where she is from. Along with Eiko, she is capable of summoning Eidolons, powerful forces that bonded with the planet Gaia over many centuries. She can cause either catastrophic damange with such things or she can use them to protect her friends and loved ones.
• .:Weaponry:. She uses a variety of rods and rackets, most dealing with either the wind attack element or holy. Her rods allow her to be in close-range combat, while her rackets are better used for long-range. Most often, she does not use either of them, however.
[Historical Statistics]
• Garnet was originally raised in Madain Sari with the name Sarah. Like Eiko Carol, she was gifted with a horn upon her forehead, as all summoners were. When Madain Sari was destroyed by the Invincible, her mother, Jane, took her out on the sea. Arriving in Alexandria's harbour, her mother was found dead and Doctor Tot, Queen Brahne, and the king found that Sarah looked so much like Princess Garnet, who had recently passed away. Her horn was sawed off and she was used as the replacement princess.
• She lived her life fairly happily until a mysterious man entered the picture. He bewitched her new mother, Queen Brahne, with greed and the lust for power. This was sparked behind his own desires to gain control over Garnet's Eidolons, the power hidden within her pendant that she was given when she was younger.
• At her sixteenth birthday, she encountered Zidane Tribal and the theatre troupe, Tantalus. Asked to be taken from her family (and unaware that the regent of Lindblum, her late father's best friend), she was "kidnapped" and encountered a variety of issues with Zidane, her personal escort (Adelbert Steiner), a rather young yet intelligent black mage (Vivi Ornitier), a spunky summoner like herself (Eiko Carol), a gourmand for fine foods (Quina Quen), a Burmecian Dragon Knight searching for her lost love (Freya Crescent), and a wanted man who was wrongfully accused (Amarant Coral).
• At the sight of the Iifa Tree after she regained her summoning powers, her mother was killed by the mysterious man, given the name Kuja. During more of her travels, she found that Zidane was not only from a planet by the name of Terra, but that Kuja was technically his older brother, and both (among an entire race of them, the genomes they were called) were creations by a man called Garland.
• After Terra was destroyed to prevent the assimilation with the planet Gaia, Queen Garnet (coronated after the passing of her mother) and the others found the place where all life began and ended. Defeating Kuja at that spot, he chose to destroy the very crystal that had control over all life. Taken to a place that was very well controlled by their Supreme Being, Necron, he was destroyed, and peace was returned to Gaia.
• A year later at Queen Garnet's seventeenth birthday, Tantalus returned to perform Queen Garnet's favourite play ('I Want to Be Your Canary' by Lord Avon), and she was reunited with Zidane, where it was implied that they did live in peace. However, that remains to be seen.
